Antique French Metal Beads

These unique beads haven't been produced since the turn of the 19th Century; back then, bead making was a real art. Today, French Metal Beads are most often used in Victorian-era purse restorations,
as well as in high-end jewelry design. Our Practical Solutions for preserving history include rescuing these rare beads from actual period purses that are damaged beyond repair. They are meticulously culled, polished, and rehanked to offer the best beads possible. In general, the holes of these beads are quite large and should accommodate a #12 or smaller beading needle.

Because they are quite rare, quantities are limited. Please Do Not Order More than the Amount Available. Again, these are Metal beads, not glass. Please care for them properly. Unless otherwise stated, these beads are sold in standard 2-inch hanks (12 strings of beads that measure 4-inches each). Weights will vary according to the style of bead. These antique beads are shipped in custom boxes made from recycled materials (save a tree today!), with Delivery Confirmation and purchase price insurance. Returns of non-damaged, non-altered hanks are accepted within 14 days for the purchase price only, minus a 10% administration charge. Refunds will be in the form of business checks (Practical Solutions). We do not refund postage.
