Antique/Vintage Glass Microbeads Prior to World War II the making of beads was fine art, and these tiny beads haven't been produced in many years. Today, these rare beads are used in beaded flower design, American Indian artistry, and high-end jewelry. Many of these beads are Very tiny and require an extremely fine beading needle, such as a Thomas & Sons Size 16 English needle. As is common with antique beads, the color, size, and shape of beads within the same hank will vary quite a bit. Because these beads are from vintage, uncirculated stock, quantities are limited.
